Τα οστά είναι ένας ζωντανός ιστός ακριβώς όπως τα νεφρά, η καρδιά, και τα άλλα όργανα του σώματος. Αποτελούνται από σκληρό εξωτερικό κέλυφος και από σπογγώδες εσωτερικό πλέγμα ιστού, που αναδιαμορφώνεται και ανακατασκευάζεται συνεχώς.

Σ’ όλη την διάρκεια της ζωής μας, τα οστά υφίστανται συνεχώς ένα είδος αποδόμησης και ανακατασκευής για να προσαρμοστούν σε καινούργιες μηχανικές συνθήκες που δημιουργούνται με την πάροδο του χρόνου.

Η συνεχής αυτή ανακατασκευή, αποσκοπεί τόσο στην αποκατάσταση και διατήρηση της ανατομικής και λειτουργικής ακεραιότητας τους, αντιμετωπίζοντας έτσι την οποιαδήποτε φθορά – ζημιά που συνεχώς προκαλείται, όσο και στην διατήρηση της μέγιστης οστικής μάζας. Έτσι, μέσα σε 9-10 χρόνια έχει γίνει πλήρης αντικατάσταση όλου του οστίτη ιστού. Η διαδικασία αυτή της αποκατάστασης του φθαρμένου, με νέο οστό αποκαλείται ¨ανακατασκευή¨.

Τα οστά δεν βρίσκονται ποτέ σε μεταβολική αδράνεια. O κακός μεταβολισμός των οστών είναι μια κατάσταση που χαρακτηρίζεται από την απώλεια της οστικής πυκνότητας και οδηγεί σε οστά που είναι ασθενέστερα και πιο επιρρεπή σε κατάγματα. Αυτή η μεταβολική διαδικασία ρυθμίζεται από τους οστεοβλάστες (κύτταρα που οικοδομούν τα οστά) και τους οστεοκλάστες (κύτταρα που αποδομούν το οστά).

Οι οστεοβλάστες παράγουν μια πρωτεΐνη που ονομάζεται οστεοκαλσίνη, και είναι πρωτεΐνη εξαρτώμενη από τη βιταμίνη Κ που δεσμεύει το ασβέστιο με τη μήτρα του οστού και χτίζει υγιή οστά. Αλλά η οστεοκαλσίνη χρειάζεται επαρκή ποσότητα βιταμίνης Κ2 για να ενεργοποιηθεί. Όσο η δραστηριότητα σχηματισμού οστού είναι μεγαλύτερη από την αποδόμηση του οστού, η διαδικασία της διατήρησης υγιών οστών διατηρείται υπό έλεγχο.

Ωστόσο, όταν αυτή η λεπτή διαδικασία δεν είναι σε ισορροπία, τα οστά γίνονται αδύναμα και εύθραυστα. Η ισχυρή συσχέτιση μεταξύ της ανεπάρκειας βιταμίνης Κ2 και στην εξασθενημένη υγεία των οστών, έχει αποδειχθεί τόσο σε εργαστηριακές όσο και κλινικές μελέτες.

Έχει βρεθεί ότι η ανεπάρκεια βιταμίνης Κ2 οδηγεί σε ένα μειωμένο επίπεδο ενεργοποιημένης οστεοκαλσίνης, η οποία με τη σειρά της αυξάνει τον κίνδυνο για εύθραυστα οστά.

H K2 είναι ένας συμπαράγοντας για ένα ένζυμο που καλείται γάμμα -γλουταμύλ-καρβοξυλάση. Αν δεν υπάρχει επαρκής ποσότητα Κ2, το ένζυμο δεν ενεργοποιείται για μία βιοχημική αντίδραση που λέγεται καρβοξυλίωση. Η καρβοξυλίωση ενεργοποιεί έναν αριθμό πρωτεινών που είναι απαραίτητες για υγιή οστά. Αν δεν ενεργοποιήσει η Κ2 το ένζυμο που ενεργοποιεί τις πρωτείνες που ρυθμίζουν που θα πάει το ασβέστιο, αυτές δεν λειτουργούν. Και το ασβέστιο καταλήγει σε αρτηρίες,νεφρά,καρδιά κ.λ.π και όχι στα κόκκαλα.

Οι πρωτείνες αυτές καλούνται γάμμα -καρβονυλ - γλουταμικές πρωτείνες ή G.L.A πρωτείνες. Μία από αυτές είναι η οστεοκαλσίνη, που η δουλειά της είναι να προσελκύσει τα μόρια του ασβεστίου που υπάρχουν στην κυκλοφορία και έπειτα να τα αγκυροβολήσει στα κόκκαλα σαν κρύσταλλα υδροξυαπατίτη.

Αν ενεργοποιηθεί πολύ λίγη οστεοκαλσίνη, τότε μόνο πολύ λίγο από το διαθέσιμο ασβέστιο που υπάρχει στην κυκλοφορία θα καταλήξει στα οστά.

Η Κ2 είναι ακόμη υπεύθυνη για την ενεργοποίηση μιας άλλης βασικής πρωτείνης. που καλείται matrix G.L.A πρωτείνη και προλαμβάνει την εναπόθεση ασβεστίου σε μαλακούς ιστούς. Όταν η Κ2 είναι πολύ χαμηλή, η πρωτείνη αυτή είναι εκτός χρήσης.

Έτσι το ασβέστιο που καταναλώνουμε και θέλουμε να πάει στα οστά, πάει όπου δεν θέλουμε, γίνεται ασβεστοποίηση και δεν ανακυκλώνεται το ασβέστιο. Τα οστά εναποθηκεύουν και προμηθεύουν ασβέστιο για τις ανάγκες του οργανισμού και αποτελούν (μυελός των οστών) μαζί με το ήπαρ και τη σπλήνα την κύρια πηγή αιμοποίησης.

Στον οστίτη ιστό γίνεται αποθήκευση ασβεστίου, των αιμοποιητικών κυττάρων και ενέργειας. Επομένως τα οστά είναι ένα σημαντικό όργανο για την επιβίωση και την λειτουργικότητα του ατόμου.

Η φόρμουλα VITAMIN K2 είναι ένα συμπλήρωμα διατροφής που περιέχει βιταμίνη Κ2 και βιταμίνη C.

Lamia

For the city of Lamia, shipment of goods is the same day when the products are all available at the pharmacy. In the absence of a product, the delivery time can be 1-2 days. In case of a longer delay, we will contact you and inform you of the exact time. Shipment of products is free on weekdays between 8:00 to 21:00. Before delivering the products, we arrange by telephone, an appointment for delivery, which serves both the handling of the pharmacy department and the client.

Rest of Greece

For the rest of Greece, delivery to your place is by courier the next day. In some remote areas, the delivery time can be up to 2 days. If any product is not available at the pharmacy, waiting time can reach 3 to 4 days. In case of delay of more than 4 days, the pharmacy comes in contact with you. For orders of more than 39 euros, shipping is free.

Reminded that if the payment method is by "Cash", a surcharge 0,70€ is applied. (For orders over 39 euros, then delivery cost is free).

Shipping to Cyprus

Shipping to Cyprus is within 2 to 3 working days by FPC ELTA courier and shipping costs are 15€ for orders up to 2kg. If ordering more than 2 kg, the extra cost per kilogram is 2,7€. Also, the cost of payment if you wish to pay by cash on delivery, amounts to 3 euros.

Orders are shipped abroad using DHL and the average delivery time is 2 business days (as business day is considered until 13.00 GMT+2 for shipping abroad)

If a parcel is sent back to Pharmacy2go by DHL, or your parcel is damaged a further investigation is needed. After the appropriate investigation, into the cause of the return, by the shipping company (DHL), and if found that the parcel were returned / harmed by our fault or DHL's we can full refund the amount of the order either to your Credit Card t or we can send you a coupon for an upcoming order.

In some remote areas, the dispatch by courier is still weak. Where these are delivered by mail and do not force the delivery. For the exact cost of your order, the Pharmacy2go will contact you prior to shipping. If you want to get your order by courier, the delivery charge is changing and Pharmacy2go will contact you for the exact charge.

For orders over 3kg and more bulky packages prior consultation with the pharmacy, because shipping costs vary.

For heavy items you want to send are delivered by transport agency (receipt from the headquarters of the agency). This does not apply to delivery. Should be preceded by deposit money into one of our bank accounts.

Delivery

1. Unless the parties agreed otherwise on the time of delivery, the trader delivers the goods by transferring the physical possession or control of the goods to the consumer without undue delay, but not later than 30 calendar days from the conclusion of the contract.

2. Where the trader has failed to fulfill his obligation to deliver the goods at the time agreed upon with the consumer or within the time limit set out in paragraph 1, the consumer shall call upon him to make the delivery within and additional period of time appropriate to the circumstances. If the trader fails to deliver the goods within the additional period of time, the consumer is entitled to terminate the contract.

The first subparagraph shall not be applicable to sales contracts where the trader has refused to deliver the goods or if the delivery within the agreed delivery period is essential, taking into account all the circumstances attending the conclusion of the contract, or where the consumer informs the trader prior to the conclusion of the contract, that delivery by or on a certain date is essential. In these cases, if the supplier fails to deliver the goods at the time agreed upon with the consumer or within the period specified above, the consumer is entitled to terminate the contract immediately.

3. Upon termination of the contract, the trader shall, without undue delay, reimburse all sums paid under the contract.

4. Termination of paragraph 2 shall be without prejudice to any legal rights of the consumer in the general provisions.


Fees for the use of payment instruments

It is forbidden to the trader to charge consumers for using a particular payment instrument, fees that exceed the cost of using this instrument by himself.


Passing of risk

In contracts where the trader dispatches the goods to the consumer, the risk of loss or damage to the goods shall pass to the consumer when he or a third party indicated by the consumer and other than the carrier has acquired the physical possession of the goods. However, the risk shall pass to the consumer upon delivery to the carrier if the carrier was commissioned by the consumer to carry the goods and that choice was not offered by the trader, without prejudice to the rights of the consumer against the carrier.
